Building permits and plans, Certificates of Occupancy and Certificates of Use, Code Compliance, Product Approval and Zoning records may all be searched online for free, in lieu of submitting a public records request.

You are able to search for building permit inspection history, including issuance and permit application history using the Building Permit Selection Menu. You will need the permit number, process number, or address (e.g. “11805 SW 26 ST – no city, state or zip required) to complete the search. Building Plans

You may find available Certificates of Occupancy using the Online Certificate of Occupancy/Completion search using the “View Certificate data - Need Certificate Number or Property Address” option. **Enter the address as, example “11805 SW 26 ST” – no city, state, or zip required and do not spell out “street”, “avenue” or “road, use abbreviations.” ** If no results populate, further research may be necessary. Search Product Approval’s database for products that have been approved for use on buildings. All fields are not required to be filled out to search. You may search for Zoning records online for free in lieu of a public records request. If you do not have a folio, visit the Property Appraiser’s website and obtain the folio by inputting the address. Then, perform the search via the links below.

When requesting more specific/accurate information, complete a Zoning Verification Request Form so Zoning staff may conduct the research.
