PEPA Eclipse Plug-in
A common experiment to perform on a PEPA model is to vary a rate and see how this affects a chosen performance metric. This is known as sensivity analysis.
This example evaluates the model eleven times, with the value of the rate parameter r varying from one to eleven in steps of one. Repeating a calculation while varying a parameter like this is known as parameter sweep.
Getting started
State-space generation and navigation
- Using the single step navigator
- Filtering the state-space to display only some of the reachable states
- Exporting the state-space and generator matrix of the Markov chain to files
- Aggregate your PEPA model to reduce the number of reachable states
- Markovian analysis of PEPA models
- Visualising the results as a bar chart or a pie chart
- Enabling the graph view
- Experimenting on a PEPA model to discover the effect of varying one of the rates
- Experimenting on a PEPA model to discover the effect of varying two of the rates
